Rio Raft and Resort has 25 Guadalupe River view cottages with kitchenettes, full baths and a great view of our beautiful river frontage just above the 4th Crossing Bridge on River Road. RV camping is available with 30 and 50 amp service, on site sewer, cable TV, picnic table, free WiFi and space for big rigs. Our event center overlooking the river will accommodate family reunions, corporate and church retreats, wedding parties or RV Rally clubs as well as activities for our Winter Texan friends.

Open year-round, Rio Raft offers fishing access for Rainbow and brown trout, Guadalupe bass and more with boat rentals available all year (weather permitting). Choose rafting, tubing (or toobing), inflatable canoes, sit-on-top kayaks for 2 to 6 hour trips with several options on different sections of the river, including the popular Tube Loop. Personal attention and free river maps help make your trip fun and relaxing - we also have the items you need such as water shoes, waterproof gear bags, sunglasses, lotion, and cold beverages for a great time while on the river. Of course, if you have little ones or just want to really relax, enjoy our
refreshing beach-entry pool and covered pavilion while the more adventurous brave the rapids!
Volleyball, horseshoes, children's playground and 1/4 mile riverfront park give you plenty of choices for fun and games.
Rio is a stocking point for Guadalupe River Trout Unlimited as well as Texas Parks and Wildlife during the fall and winter so bring your fly rod and fish the southernmost trout fishery in the United States.Gruene Hall, Schlitterbahn, Natural Bridge Caverns and Wildlife Park are nearby as well as wonderful restaurants, Prime Outlets shopping, museums and historic buildings in New Braunfels. San Antonio is less than an hour away for visits to the Alamo, the Riverwalk, the historic Mission Trail and lots more.
